Each design will have two options:

  • Topper + Badge Reel – Includes the interchangeable topper AND compatible badge reel attachment.
  • Topper Only – Perfect if you already have one of our compatible interchangeable badge reels and just want to add another design to your collection!

How the Interchangeable System Works

The toppers attach using a twist-to-lock system. Simply line up the topper with the attachment, gently twist to secure, and twist in the opposite direction to remove when you're ready for a new design.

Please do not force the topper when locking or unlocking. If it does not twist easily, stop and make sure the pieces are properly lined up before trying again. Forcing or over-tightening the locking mechanism may damage the topper or attachment.

Twist-to-Lock Compatibility

Currently, Sage Creations offers one style of twist-to-lock backing, so all current interchangeable toppers are made to fit this style.

As our collection grows, additional twist-to-lock styles or updated versions may be introduced. If new styles are added, compatibility between different versions may vary. Please make sure you are purchasing toppers that match the twist-to-lock style of your existing reel.

Any future listings will note which locking style/version the topper is compatible with.

  • Each item is 3D printed, so small layer lines or minor variations are normal and part of the 3D printing process.
  • Topper Only selections do not include a badge reel.
  • Toppers are designed to work with Sage Creations interchangeable badge reel attachments; compatibility with attachments purchased elsewhere is not guaranteed.
  • Gently twist to lock and unlock—never force or over-tighten.
  • Colors may vary slightly depending on filament availability and screen settings.
  • Small parts may present a choking hazard. Keep away from young children.
  • Handmade/custom items may have slight variations from the product photos.
